Why buy a classic from outside of Europe?
In short: in Europe, most cars are known and so are the prices… So it is hard to find the right car at an even better price. Outside of Europe there are still opportunities: e.g. the USA and Japanese market are popular these days. Let us tell you why:
Some markets are not that obvious to buy a car in - due to distance or cultural differences. The red tape and also the distance (and not to able to "see" the car in real life) you need to go through scares a lot of people away. What you really need is good reliable partners, who can be your eyes onsite.
In the past years, we have established some firm connections over the world. We are confident thay will give us a gooed judgement on the cars.
Besides that, most importantly for us car enthousiasts, the classics we are looking for:
have low or acceptable mileage, preferably well documented.
are in excellent exterior and interior condition due to mild climates.
have received the regular required maintenance and are usually not run on a budget by wannabe racers.
have mostly been garaged since new.
So basically, the up-market cars we try to find don’t deteriorate or age as much as they do in most other countries, and they are not likely to be abused or neglected; they are bought, driven and maintained by people who can afford to.
